Built on the old goods yard beside Rugeley Trent Valley, a brownfield site brought back into use rather than another field lost.
The Sidings reuses land that sat empty for two decades. Reclaiming it took longer than building on a green field would have, and we think that is the right trade. Cannock Chase begins a short cycle ride away.
Because the station is at the end of the road, we designed for people who commute without a car. There is secure cycle storage with every home, a car club bay, and fewer parking spaces than a typical scheme, which let us give the space back to a linear park along the old track bed.
